It's better than most legislation

Hi,
I'd like to propose the following Federal Law:
Any newspaper/website/other media outlet that carries the Funky Winkerbean comic strip must show, immediately below the strip for the current date, the strip for the same date 25 years earlier.
I know, I know, they're not always the "funny" pages, but they're definitely not the "relentlessly depressing" pages either. If we don't bring up the weak humor content of our national comics pages, the terrorists have already won.

Date: 2010-10-09 06:26 pm (UTC)Correct. However, it wasn't a relentless spiral into a black pit of despair that characterizes the current run. It was an innocuous piece of fluff and that was perfectly fine.
