Whipping an undead horse

Hey,

So at the bookstore this morning I came across a copy of "Zombies at Lake Woebegotten", a spoof of the Garrison Keilor tales of Lake Woebegone on A Prairie Home Companion. I turn around and on the shelf behind me is "Tom Sawyer and the Undead".

Um...ok, I'm done here. I'm pretty much zombied out. I still think there's a lot of great stories to tell in the zombie motif, but the quality bar is now pretty high and the novelty bar is almost stratospheric. These zombie pastiche stories are stick-a-fork-in-them done.

When it hits the shelves I'll pick up a copy of Unicorns vs. Zombies for you. It promises to be weeeeeird and spectacular.
