OK, so...I knew it was going to be bad. Everyone said "stay away". It seemed pretty sketchy.
But we wanted Chinese and it was right down the street.
Worst. Chinese. EVAR!
Tom
p.s. The real problem is that a.) I'm still hungry (because I didn't eat much of the terrible food), but b.) I don't want to eat food...like...ever again. Perhaps a nice IV drip....

Date: 2009-07-23 12:27 am (UTC)I am almost ashamed to admit it, the place is so infamous:

Date: 2009-07-23 12:49 pm (UTC)In fact, I'm pretty sure it was you guys who warned me. Which is why I feel like a chump for going there last night because what -- your opinion on bad food might be off somehow?
*sigh*
Tom
p.s. Where do you go in Acton for Chinese?

Date: 2009-07-23 01:01 pm (UTC)We usually go to Makaha in Acton (on 2A across from Donelan's). It's a bit far, but Mike can stop on his way home from work. There are some other good places for fancier Chinese, but we've found that if you just need your crab rangoon, chicken fingers, fried rice fix, it's satisfactory. Not the best, but best we've found around here.
We have never eaten there - we always get take out. The decor is totally awesome-ly tacky!
