Hi,
OK, so it's after Rites of Spring, so it's probably the worst time in the world, but I've got too many drums in my house and I want to consolidate down to just one drum. So I'm having a big sell-off.
Here's what I've got:
Djembes:
Djunns:
I have two Djunns which I made at a drum-building workshop. These guys are enormous and they have a deep rumble.
If you want both Djunns, you can have them for $225 (stand and stuff included).
If you're local, I can arrange delivery. If you're far away, we'll figure out what shipping will be and add that on.
If you're interested in any of the drums, please feel free to drop me a line or leave a comment.
Thanks
Tom

Here's what I've got:
Djembes:
- The first Dejembe is 19"high with an 11" head. It was my first Djembe. It's a mass-produced model so it uses multiple planks of wood glued together to make the body and it has an artificial drum head. The head is attached with rope webbing rather than drum screws so it won't stand out too badly in a crowd. It was just too small for me, but if you're a beginner, it'll be more than enough for you to bop around on. I'm asking $75. Comes with a drum bag included.
- The second Djembe is direct from West Africa. It's a larger model standing 23" high with a 13" head. The body is made from a single piece of wood and the lower part has various African animals carved into it. The head is goatskin. It's a solid all-around drum that I've been using for the past couple of years. I'm asking $200 for it and it also comes with a drum bag.
Djunns:
I have two Djunns which I made at a drum-building workshop. These guys are enormous and they have a deep rumble.
- The smaller of the two Djunns is 22" long and 14" in diameter. Has a moon stencil painted on the side. I believe the head is water buffalo. It's hefty, but it's not too hard to sling around. I'm asking $125 for it.
- The larger of the two is a real monster. It's 22" long and 18" in diameter. Pretty much sounds like thunder. Head is very clearly cow. Has a sun stenciled on the side. I'd like $150 for it. I'll include a small stand because you won't want to carry this one around.

Count me interested...
Date: 2007-05-31 02:31 am (UTC)The other thing is, the giant dragon won't work for Friday. Most of my D&D group is going to be away. :-(

Date: 2007-05-31 05:22 pm (UTC)Sadly, I'm not around Fri. or Sat. night. Also, the little one appears to be semi-spoken for.
I'm still in Acton for the moment. Drop me a line and we'll work out a showing.
