So people got all worked up that Clinton got a blowjob from his intern. And yeah, giving blowjobs to your married boss is pretty much a huge no-no unless there's a lot of negotiation involving all affected parties.

Y'know, I try to think about our current president as infrequently as possible, in as little detail as possible. That image is, therefore, horribly wrong. Yes, anyone is allowed to show some charm, but really, do we need to see that, in particular?

Besides, if we refuse to consider other people as real human beings, then we've lost a vital capacity for empathy and the ability to get beyond our differences.

I did have the thought that it's not repugnant to me to see people out of their 40's or 50's being casually intimate (not bumping uglies but being tactice, whatnot), it's seeing someone I don't particularly care for, being in a remotely intimate pose.

Yes, I may be harming my empathy. I understand that he's a man, married, and allowed to be charming and whatnot, especially with his wife. That doesn't mean I should force a different emotional reaction.

Sorry, I got a bit analytical there. These things happen. I'm curious how you'll make it up: a better image of some sort, perhaps? (Nothing too risque~, please; I'll take funny.)

I think your empathy is intact, because this is a staged photo-op just like everything else.
