Hi,
So this weekend, I got a chance to play Mechaton by Vincent Baker. In fact, I got to play with Vincent and while I was betrayed out of victory in the end, I at least had the satisfaction of destroying one of his mechs with a flamethrower and using my sensors to light up a second mech that was pretty much slagged by the artillery barrage of another player.
So if you've got some Legos and you want to build big fighty robots and have a fast, fun game, you should check this out. The link above takes you to a page where you can pick up the original playtest ruleset. He now has a cheap PDF out with a more polished set of rules and he's hammering out a campaign game and posting the results of his playtesting via his blog.
Smashy robot fun!
