It's a Freight Train of WIN
Apr. 11th, 2008 09:06 pmHey,
So I had a very nice date last night. She made burgers and I brought the games over. We played Wings of War using the snazzy little miniatures. It was a fun game but you need a good surface to move lay out the cards and move the planes around. I'll still probably pick up a couple more models for this one.
Then I brought out Cosmic Wimpout. When I've been away from this game for awhile, I keep forgetting all the fiddly bits, but I did pretty good. I realize now that I messed up on the futtless rule (your role doesn't count if you roll what's in your Flash and if you have to pick up all five dice, you still have to clear the Flash), but we had a lot of fun with it.
She also rolled 5 6's which is the instant "I WIN!" roll.
I'm pretty sure that means I've been in a game where a freight train of 6's and a freight train of 10's (the "I LOSE!" roll) has come up (two separate games, but still).
later
