Demented Dreaming
Nov. 12th, 2002 01:09 pmHeh,
So I had a pretty heavy dreaming session last night, but I can't remember too much about it. The one thing I can remember is that I have learned a new drinking game from my dreams.
According to my dreams, this is an English drinking game called Hen's Breath. It's a very simple game to play:

According to my dreams, this is an English drinking game called Hen's Breath. It's a very simple game to play:
- Gather a group of friends
- Gather a lot of booze
- Everyone begins drinking heavily.
- When someone stops drinking and passes out or goes to sleep, they lose.
- The last person still on their feet and drinking must then attempt to determine what a hen's breath smells like. Being a popular rural pastime, there's usually a chicken to hand and it's often early morning by the time there's a sole participant.
- If the final player ascertains the actual smell of a hen's morning breath, they are also deemed to have lost.
Well....*I* thought it was worth remembering....

I particularly enjoy dreams where I'm doing or watching something patently absurd (like the Hen's Breath game) and my mind will quickly fill in background details so that it "makes sense" to me.
As for the chicken, I don't think you win it as a prize. I think the prize is the knowledge that you can drink yourself stupid all night long and still have the mental capacity to avoid investigating poultry halitosis.
