Homeworld War Lexicon

Hi,

Just a quick mention to my 20x20 peeps, that I'm in a massive new science fantasy Lexicon about the Homeworld War. I'm playing Vincent Tao and it looks like it's going to be quite a show. I also wanted to give the mad props to kadath for her heroic efforts in organizing and running this little shindig.

And I should also get in my first entry...

I can't Edit without a user/pass, and the Wiki won't let me create one (or at least, I haven't figured out how yet).

Help?

(Also, is this still open to new players at all?)

Sorry, the sign-ups are closed. The hostess had about 14 players about 2 days after she posted the notice and she figured that was quite well enough. But I do think that an appreciative audience is still a useful thing.

Besides, I get the feeling that the Lex meme just infected a whole new batch of players. Which means more games forthcoming.

From my experience, I'm not even sure an appreciative audience is possible for a Lexicon. You kind of have to be in there or it's not as interesting. Still, this one seems like it's going to be a good one, so I'll definitely give it a try.

Yeah, what Tom said. It's deeply flattering that you're interested, though. I had no idea how popular the idea would prove to be. If this run doesn't explode, I have plans for at least five more waiting in the pipe. Want me to put you on the mailing list?

And yes, please do put me on the list. Ultimately it's best if I don't bog down in a Lexicon right now (no time), but come August I'll be aching for some creative work.

I'd say foolhardy myself as a Lexicon tends to mutate and turn weird after about the third round, planning any further ahead can be a bad thing from experience.

Mutate? How so? There's already a disagreement in this one about the nature of hyperspace, so I'd like to know what else I'm in for.

(For the record, the future Lexicons I have in mind are unrelated to Homeworld.)

The players you think are vital/good contributors aren't. The energy levels you thouht were there arent. People wo were quietare suddenly crucal. Themes change drasticaly about midstream. People stat getting really goofy. Basically every rpeconcetion yu start with isn't there. Including your energy level, and you will need a break after one lexicon.
