Strangely, I get the feeling that Annie's mom would love it. Y'know, what with the differential calculus required to determine your base characteristics and all.

Rock on. I haven't played since Revised, but good times.

I hope they've sped up combat a little - it tended to bog down as people tried to shake 18d6 for their energy blast damage...

I still remember Shift - he was an army experiment in shapeshifting who escaped. His favorite prank: turning into a coffee cup that weighed 6 tons and waiting for the party brick to give himself a hernia.

I'm amazed at their publication schedule. Since the 5th ed. debuted a couple of years ago, they've had a steady stream of sourcebooks, sometimes more than one every month and all of them incredibly dense. It helps that they're doing a lot of catch-up from previous editions, but still...
