Hey,
So in this book I'm reading, a guy is trekking across Mongolia with a caravan and he's just lost his monocle (dude is a stone-cold bad-ass by the way). So here's the excerpt:
However, when we had camped again my camel man, who always took an interest in helping people to keep their minds on their troubles, admonished me to take off my breeches carefully. "I've lost all kinds of things in my time," said he, "and found them in my trousers." As he was speaking, I did find the glass -- in the crook of my knee, though how it could have lodged there unbeknowst, deponent knoweth not.
"There you are!" said camel man, a little disappointed that I found my glass, but pleased with the justification of his own theories of treasure seeking. "Everything appears when you take off your trousers."
A Truth even sleazy camel drivers from the 1920's know...
