A Gun Nut I Am, Lest A Gun Nut I Become

Hey,
So, while I haven't actaully picked any of them up, I've heard very good things around White wolf's new World of Darkness line. I understand that Warewolf is a very good revamp, the new Mage is pretty spiffy and I've read some sample chapters of the Vampire game and I thought they had some really nice stuff.
I've toyed with the idea of picking it up, but WoD just isn't something I'm going to run. Yes, I've picked up a lot of things I'll probably never run, but I am less not likely to run a game of Burning Wheel than I am of WoD. But I did feel like the new WoD was something to be appreciated.
Until this weekend when I came across a copy of World of Darkness: Armory. Yup. It's exactly what you'd expect, a book all about guns and heavy weaponry.
*sigh*
Oh White Wolf, you start out with such great ideas and then decide that you really just want to kill people and take their stuff. You have games all about the immortal monsters of the night but then come out with sourcebooks that worry about burst fire and ammo capacity and stuff.
Look, here's how guns should work in WoD:
1. Are you a Werewolf/Vampire/Mage/etc?
a. Yes -- guns don't hurt you. At best massive damage (say from a grenade luancher) merely causes you to miss a turn, but you look all badass when you come back.
b. No -- see step 2.
2. Everyone else -- roll a d6:
Die Roll Result
1-2 They missed you!
3-4 They wounded you! Fall down in pain and be incapcitated.
5-6 They killed you. Why were you a human in this game?
See? Much better.
Also, speaking of Maximum Metal: Cyberpunk 3rd ed. The illustrations are all photographs of dressed up action figures. Normally, artwork isn't high on my list of worries, but...oh man...
later
