bluegargantua...I got my warp coil today.
It's a large crucible made of quartz crystal (which was liquified and then molded into shape). At the top, it's about 16" in diameter.
It also comes with a suede-wrapped stick.
Gently strike the crucible and it rings like a gong.
Run the stick around the outside edge of the bowl...
...imagine running your finger along a wine glass and making it hum. Now imagine that your wine glass is 16" across at the top.
The tones are amazing. Once you let up on the stick, it continues to ring for 20-30 seconds. If you put your hand near the edge, you can feel the vibrations coming off it.
