In the last two weeks I've gotten two parking tickets. One of them, I was deliberately tempting fate and I accept my punishment. The second, was a total bitch slap.
Apparently, I'm fresh out of parking karma. Time to go buy a live chicken and some cornmeal...
In other news, I have signed up for National Novel Writing Month. I have no prep and only a vague idea of what I'm going to write. I'm not expecting great literature, I'm not necessarily expecting to get through 50,000 words in 30 days...but I do want to try and get some amount of writing done every day in November. We'll see what happens.
