Kim Jong Il has died. His third son is probably(?) going to replace him? It will be interesting to see if there's a smooth transition and if the new ruler will make any changes.

If it's a smooth transition, no one notices.

If it's a rough transition, we get to see how far China is willing to intervene.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. China has done more and more to stabilize them. I wonder how much leaning on them will be necessary.
