And as I had guessed, he's talking about Borderlands, which I've been playing off and on and actually sort of enjoying. Given that I mostly don't play or like FPS this one's not bad. He's pretty spot-on in most of his complaints, though (you out-level the missions too fast, the annoying robot is really annoying, the inability to make a simple comparison of weapon vs weapon is REALLY annoying, and there just aren't that many interesting mooks to shoot).
