There's a free library at the Baen Books website where you can download books by John Ringo, Eric Flint, David Weber and other Baen authors.
I read the first couple Honor Harrington books, out of curiosity, and was frankly glad I hadn't paid for them. I thought the characters were one dimensional and the plots formulaic and predictable. I can't really recommend them to anyone.
