As it stands the Germans best hopes rest on the West side. If they can make it across the street without breaking, they'll be on top of their victory objective and with a 3-1 advantage, I'm hoping that CC will turn out in their favor. After that, they've got to hang tough until turn 5. The Americans are gambling a bit, but if they can overwhelm the East side attackers (who have the better 8-1 leader), they should be able to refocus and win through.
This is the first scenario in the starter box, so I suspect it's all about teaching you how to close combat stuff. No one has any support weapons, it's just MMCs and a lot of stone buildings.
