Hi,

So Tycho and Gabe of Penny Arcade and Scott Kurtz of PVP, got together a couple months back with Chris Perkins of Wizards of the Coast for a test-run of 4th ed. D&D. Scott and Tycho were fairly old hands at D&D, Gabe had never played before.

They recorded the whole session.

It's hilarious.

Part 2

[ETA: This appears to require a sign-up with WOTC's Gleemax stuff. There is some info on subscribing to the podcast which might get around the requirements. I'll toss the instructions in the comments.]

Also, a poll about my forthcoming test-run of 4e to come out later today.

later
Tom

p.s. I'm imagining the results of recording my weekly D&D game...scary.

I'd like to participate in your test run. I was thoroughly pleased by my introduction to D&D43 on Saturday, and I'd be happy to do so again.

My friend [livejournal.com profile] thepoeticpirate is downright pissed with 4e, because it seems to be so combat-oriented. I on the other hand, was thoroughly delighted to be able to down 7-8 kobolds as a first-level wizard. THAT's the stuff, man!
