Hi,
So I'm seriously considering starting up a new game.
I want to do an adventure game set in the world of Virga as described in the books of Karl Schroeder -- Sun of Suns and Queen of Candesce.
Basically, Virga is a giant shell some 5000KM in diameter filled mostly with air, water vapor and some rocks. Everything is in free-fall and people build spinning town wheels to live on. Light and heat are provide by small fusion reactors that form "suns" that light/heat a small area.
So it looks a little something like this:

The books paint a swashbuckling adventurous world and I'd probably use the FATE/Spirit of the Century rules to run it. They should work very well for the setting and are fairly easy to pick up and understand.
The game would have a strong Farscape or Firefly feel to it. A group of misfits, on the run from their past explore an unknown part of the sphere far from normal run of traffic. Sessions could have Tomb Raider-like explorations, clashes with sky pirates, duels on jet-bikes, and some courtly intrigue and romance thrown in for good measure.
I figure the game would run for maybe 12-24 sessions (so 6 months to a year depending on frequency).
Do I have any takers?

Monday's are certainly Right Out, I've got D&D with the wife. I'm trying to avoid weekends, but we'll see what happens.
