Sir,

Actually, there's no one to write to. You turned out to be the bad guy in the first go-round and now it's a few hundred years later in Italy and I'm just doing stuff on my own.

I'm having a great time. All the crap that Altair had to put up with I don't. I can blend in with crowds and if there aren't crowds around, I can just hire a squad of prostitutes to distract the guards. I don't have to hump all over Italy to get from one place to another. Getting away from the guards is a lot less tedious than it was in the previous game. Better, I can actually perform kills from the hiding spots. Most welcome (especially now that I'm in Venice), I can actually swim!

The combat can still be a bit wonky and there are times when I seem to be jumping around like a spastic monkey when I really want to make a simple climb up, but I'm otherwise happy to be an assassin.

Yours,
Enzio

[ED: This game is a lot of fun and sucked away a lot of free time this weekend for me. I really want to grind out and finish this sucker.]

Announcer: Welcome to the Cross-time Philosophical Cage Match! We take some of the greatest thinkers of past, present, and future and send them into the ring for a no-holds-barred bare-knuckle intellectual contest to determine who knows what about anything! Our first match promises to be a real barn-burner! Tonight, ancient Greek philosopher Socrates will take on 20th Century free thinker Ayn Rand. Should be an amazing show.

*Ding-Ding!*

Ayn Rand: I think you would agree, Socrates, that it is the Individual and their constant struggle what really matters.

Socrates: Hmmm...that's interesting. Why do you say that?

[30 minutes later]

Ayn Rand: Uh...well...fine! I guess it's only through the actions of the Group that we achieve true meaning.

Socrates: Hmmm...that's interesting. Why do you say that?

[30 minutes later]

Ayn Rand: Oh god, I've got to get out of here! [flees]

Socrates: [turning to cross-time liaison] And you gave them the vote?
