I'm pretty wiped out this morning. I didn't get home until late last night. But luckily, it was all in a good cause. Yesterday I drove out to Northampton for a game of Polaris.

The game totally fulfilled it's GenCon demo expectations. This game rocks on toast. How good is this game? One player had an epic three-day battle with a demon. He was slowly but surely pushed back to the walls of the palace, and then punched through the walls of the palace. One player realized his dream to be the ultimate power behind the throne. Sadly, it was the throne of a shattered kingdom and People. One player gave up her "humanity" to become the Solarice Knight and defeat the demon none could stand against. She left the Kingdom to save herself from a demonic fate, only to wander the world in sorrow and die heartbroken and homesick at the South Pole.

And me? Oh, I betrayed the People to learn the secret weakness of the moon. I cast it down out of the sky and now orbit the earth, a small spark in the night, forver looking down on the world I can never return to.

It was just good all around.

Also, one of the obligatory game-night pizzas was garlic, black olives and anchovies...it was fantastic!

But all that happened long ago and there are none who remember it.
