If you're allergic to the kitty: 1) there is special shampoo to wash kitty with to reduce it's allergenicity, if it will tolerate it. 2) Oreck makes a super duper ionizing air filter, that is quiet that you could put in your bedroom. 3) You could go to a chinese medicine practitioner and get a combo of acupuncture and herbs to deal with the allergies. 4) You could go get allergy shots to deal with the kitty.
