So I went to church with my mom. We're in Omaha so we went to my cousin's church. Although it's a Lutheran church, we attended the "contemporary" service.

formlesspassion. So let's stick this behind a cut...
OH MY GOD CREEPY! So, the church had a band and some singers and...large video screens so it was a bit like hymnal karaoke. But not really because it was just the words and without some indication of notes or timing, you were just sorta dragged along. And the music wasn't plodding germanic hymns it was all "hip". It's not like you could really hear the congregation over the miked singers.
When we got to the sermon? Yeah, the video screens provided PowerPoint highlights. It wasn't a sermon, it was a pitch for a timeshare.
