Monday Mashup #23 -- Robin Hood

So, there's this bit called Monday mashup where you take media concept A and throw it at RPG system B and see what you'd get. Sounds like fun so I'm taking a stab at it.
This week: Robin Hood
First off, I've already done this. DungeonPunk is basically a Robin Hood game where the PCs must wage irregular war against the all-powerful Elves who came in with magic and kicked butt.
But to elaborate in a different genre, I'm thinking this could be a lot of fun with Heavy Gear. In this instance, Robin and Company are a small group of Southern Army deserters. They hide out in the jungles and swamps and take on, fend off Republican regulars. It's a tough sell because maintaining a mecha-equipped cadre and avoiding detection by the swarms of advanced surveilance gear will probably be difficult. Perhaps the local equivalent of King John can't divert too many resources because he's worried that his King Richard will come back from the Badlands to kick his butt.
Another cool idea might be to mash Delta Green and Over the Edge together. Drop Delta Green cell "Lincoln" into the island of Al Amarja. If the place isn't ruled by Cthuluhian monsters I don't know what is. Their job is to destabilize the local government to the point where there's chaos in the streets (literally and more so than usual for Al Amarja) so that the US or NATO or the EU or the UN can step in and pacify the place. Definately entering the Lion's Den there.
I'm thinking of very tactical games because it's all about the daring raids and ambushes.
On a slightly different note, you could kitbash Nobilis and put Robin Hood in Cyberspace. Strike a blow for the common man and keep Excrucia Corp. from locking the whole thing down.
Underdog fights are always fun.
