Yesterday palmwiz and I took down the Christmas lights. While this is kind of sad because it means no more ridiculous light display—well, I mean, the 30' rainbow flag is still up of course, but the palm trees, cactus, and frog on a surf-board are all stowed away for the next year—it could also be heartening, as we only take then down after we've gained about a half hour of light back into the evening. It's clearly a sign that the days are getting just a little bit longer. :)
