For non-chefs, I assume that as part of a Food Group, the Food Master would assign you to clean-up/dishwashing/simple prep tasks if you claimed complete hopelessness. Alternatively, the entry fee to the Con for non-cookers might be quite a bit steeper than for cooking members.
For non-gamers, I suppose we don't care if you cook for us, but we're totally taking advantage of you.
