Fat Bottom Girl
Feb. 20th, 2012 11:49 pmHey,
So you've probably seen American Apparel ads with their stick-thin, wasted-angel models. I'm sure they're very nice people but the company is relentless in pushing this emaciated ideal of female beauty (even moreso than a lot of fashion companies). But apparently, they got enough crap from the public that they started a search for a plus-sized model.
So a woman named Nancy Upton decided to do a photo shoot of her gorgeous size-12 figure in slightly irreverent ways. She entered the contest and handily won the public votes, but American Apparel sent her a sneering email and awarded the prize to someone else.
Anyway, I think the photos are fun and hot and you should check out the full story here (NOTE: mildly NSFW-pictues...especially if you've got a thing for women in ranch dressing).
