Hey,

An interesting article on the spread of small, home-use biogas systems in south-central Asia and how it could be a valuable contribution to helping improve the lives of Afghans. It's not clear how much water this process takes and if that would make the system impractical for Afghanistan, but these are the kinds of smart systems that I think can bring a better standard of living to a larger number of people.
