Do the drapes match the carpet?
Jun. 17th, 2007 08:46 pmHi,
We mostly hate the drapes and will be replacing them.
We're also thinking about replacing our upstairs carpet. It's this horrible, run-down formerly white carpet and while it's not the most obnoxious thing on earth, this is our absolute best time to replace it.
Thing is, we're in a hurry. It'd have to get done late this week or very early next (or over the weekend). Ideally, we'd like to get some sort of carpeting that won't outgas carcinogens for the next 18 months.
Can anyone give us a quick 5-point guide to getting new carpet in?
[EDIT: For our own personal sanity, we've decided to defer installing new carpet until after the move. It will be a pain to shuffle out all the stuff that will be in the rooms to be carpeted, but we feel like the stress of trying to get everything done sooner will be too much. Thanks for all the help.]
Thanks
Tom
