So, for Boston-area people

On Friday, at 5pm, my folks are flying into Logan for the weekend. I'm picking them up.
I must then get them from Logan to Waltham to get them checked into their hotel. On a Friday. At the height of rush hour.
So...it's going to suck one way or another, but can anyone offer suggestions on the fastest way to punch through the city and get out to Waltham?
