Hi,

OK, so while on vacation I had a lot of fun and deep spiritual insights and faced my shadow self with regard to gypsy moth caterpillars.

But all that means nothing for this post. This post is about the fact that a lot of stuff for the Fruit of All Worlds Amber/Nobilis game really came together. So now it's time to ask a few questions:

1.) Do you want to play? Don't bother filling out the rest of this unless you want to play (and have some reasonable hope of being in the area to actually play and stuff).

2.) How many sessions? I have no grandiose ideas of this game running for time immortal. I just want to go through a kick-ass story arc and then let it go. Which is not to say that everyone will die at the end or that we can't pick up and do another arc, I just want to use a finite number of sessions to focus play. So your choices for total number of sessions are:

a. 6
b. 8
c. 10
d. 12

Myself, I lean slightly towards the lower end of the scale (because we're really running two games at once and it'll let me highlight a bunch of stuff).

3.) How frequently do you want to meet? Lately games have been bi-weekly, but if you went to weekly, you could get through a 12-episode game in 3 months which seems nice (but is probably impractical given life and everything).

4.) When would you like to meet? I would prefer to avoid weekends. I might consider doing Sundays (on a bi-weekly schedule) because if we kicked in an afternoon, we could cover two weeknight sessions in one day and that might make the timing work out better for people. Just a thought.

Ummm...I think that's it.
Tom

1. OH GOD YES.

2. I'll play as long as you're willing to run, so, um, I have to go for "d." But whatever.

3. Bi-weekly would work out better, I think.

4. Sundays are best for me. I could manage Mondays and Thursdays, depending on where you're planning to run.

Yes, please.

I'd prefer to play as long as it lasts, arc as you see fit.

My scheduling issues are more day-of-week centered than times-per-month centered at the moment. Consequently, once a week is preferable... assuming that will give you enough time to think up ideas

Sunday evenings could work for me, as could thursdays or fridays. Tuesdays are right out for Carolyn and I.

I'm gonna go with 'as long as it takes' or d. whichever...

Biweekly sounds good.

Sunday afternoons seem like a good idea to me.

-I'm interested, 'spite my busy schedule. A shorter run, preferably biweekly, preferably a weeknight other than Tuesday.

I think I was 7 or 8 years old, and I was on a field trip to the Mystic Aquarium/village - it was a year when we had a blight of caterpillars, like we were supposed to have this year. They were EVERYWHERE, you couldn't walk without stepping on them.

One of them crawled into my sandwich in my bag lunch. I bit through it, tasted something WRONG and then saw and oozy half a worm with green goo coming out of it in my sandwich. I didn't puke, amazingly enough, but neither did I eat for the rest of the day.

Too much of a good thing can be just that

Sometimes there can be too much transformation and it becomes watered down.
Like the gypsy moths.
It came to a point where they were invasive little fuckers and i didn't want any more to do with them.
Just like when something can be over processed.

Not saying that they werent symbolic. For me that is where I was in that space with them. I just wanted to squish them. Because they were eating the beautiful trees and were uninvited guests.
And they pooped all over my white shirts.
Totally not happy w ith that

But glad some awarenesses came for you.
I still don't like gypsy moths, I can find no purpose for them being on the planet.
