Prop 8

Hey,

So, I'm curious. Given that California seems to have a sort of "hey, just make up a ballot question and we'll put it up for a vote", could pro-marriage people come up with a proposition for the next election that says "actually, prop 8 was stupid and we're reversing it"? And if they can do that, how long does that football go back and forth?

Nope; in California you can keep on swapping proposition victories forever, every single election, so mote it be. It's not the most functional state government imaginable.

Which is why referendums are not very democratic. Its pure governance by the loudest and richest and the rabid majority.
