Yeah, the readers aren't the people who actually wrote the posts -- they're part of a website that posts choice pieces of fundamental rhetoric from message boards. So the readers don't believe any of the things they're saying. But I like how they did a very good job of reading the pieces like they were serious.
Also, some of the statements such as "I can know a lot about something without ever having studied it in depth" are pretty funny.
