Hey,

So I was thinking: The Muppet Watchmen movie would be a lot of fun. I figure you've got Gonzo for Rorschach. True, he's blue and that suggests he'd be Dr. Manhattan and you could see Sam the Eagle being conservative enough to play Rorschach, but for sheer crazy, it's hard to beat Gonzo (except for Lew Zealand or Crazy Harry, but neither of them are headliners and their schticks don't quite mesh).

So Gonzo for Rorschach, Kermit for Night Owl, Piggy for Silk Spectre, Link Heartthrob for Ozy (He's just too spot on not to play it) and we'll say....Beaker for Dr. Manhattan.

There is, of course, the obvious, but very disturbing choice for the Comedian...

How about Sam the Eagle for Dr. Manhattan? He's got that stoic, detached thing going for him and he's blue.

For the Comedian, a more logical fit might be Animal (a violent womanizer that the girls love!), but picturing Fozzie is definitely funnier. Much like Evil Burt (http://www.bertisevil.tv/index2.htm).

I'd go with Sam as Captain Metropolis-I mean, he pretty much is Sam in the Crimebusters flashback. But I want Gonzo as Manhattan (if for no other reason that that the Spectre-Dr. M scenes aren't half as funny with Beaker). So that leaves Rorschach open for somebody who has a better dynamic with Kermit than Gonzo. That means Scooter or Rolph, and Rolph works better as Hollis Mason...

...Wait, no: Better Rorschach: The Swedish Chef. Uses the same set of tools, and the monologues would probably all work fine as unintelligible+pantomime.
