Faw down go Boom
Hi,
I hate Worcester and it hates me. Last night, I was headed back to my car and tripped over a stump. I banged up my knees and scuffed my hands and really pounded my left elbow. A quick trip to the emergency room confirmed that I have indeed fractured my radial head (one of the bones connecting to the elbow). I have it in a sling and I'll try to get an appointment on Monday to go in and have a bone specialist look it over and recommend further treatment. It's a very small fracture, the doctor had to point it out to me on the x-ray, but my arm is going to be out of it for a few weeks.

Hugs and head rubs, though.

A strategic lack of streetlighting.
Thanks

It's ok, it hurt, but I couldn't tell if it was broken/sprained/just really banged up. It wasn't so searingly bad I couldn't drive, and I figured if it turned out they needed to do something serious (like put me under), I'd rather have them do it in Concord where it'd be easier for Annie to come get me.
The big thing was leaving the light on so I could find the keys I dropped.

where do you live these days, by the way? just curious. do you hang at the diesel sometimes? i was there the other day using the bathroom, and it occured to me to look for you in the back. not sure why.
anyhow - feel better. :)

Yeah, I'm just a poor country boy, hustled by the big city.
I'm currently living in Acton, and I'm often at the Diesel on Tuesday evenings (along with the rest of the Poly Boston crowd) -- and we'd be at the back. I'm probably not going to be there this week though -- driving with one arm in Boston seems like a bad idea.
But hopefully we'll meet up there someday, it'd be nice to ccatch up over coffee/tea.

-This is true. [smile] Let's see, are there any two-handed jobs you can't help him with . . .
