Healing America by beating people up
Hi,
Today at my Not-so-Local comic book store, I picked up the first issue of Nextwave by Warren Ellis. On the surface it's Ellis doing a parody of superhero comics using cast off Marvel heroes. But it's about more than that:
"Nextwave is a super hero comic about five people who have just minutes to prevent a town from being eaten by a giant lizard monster in purple underpants."
It's really, really good. I'm very happy with this first issue.
Go check it out
Tom

Actually, I've got a giant lizard monster *in* my purple underpants.

That is the best theme song ever.
