Unpleasant Milestones
Hi,
So, my first girlfriend, the first one I ever kissed, died a few days ago.
Ann struggled with anorexia all her life. The last time I knew she'd been working as a nurse at the local hospital and I thought she'd finally gotten things under control but I guess not.
She was a first girlfriend and we were teenagers and I was not nearly as socially graceful as I am now (you can't even imagine how clueless I was). So the relationship was short and it ended a bit sour as teenager things do. I haven't really thought about her in years. As with all of my exes I only hoped that she was happy, remembered the good bits of our relationship and forgave me my foolish sins. I'm sad that she's gone.
