The first taste is free...

Hey,

So a few nights ago I bought some strawberry ice cream home and the wife had some. But you know how ice cream from the store can be kinda hard and you go to lever out a piece and it pops out of the carton onto the floor?

Yeah that.

So the cats had their first taste of strawberry ice cream. And after gobbling up the scoop that hit the floor they were quick to surround Annie in hopes that another "accident" might occur. They were really persistent.

Last night, I get out the last of the ice cream and sit down on the couch to finish it off and apparently the cats know what strawberry ice cream smells like because Thorn comes dashing in and is all over me with an affectionate intensity you don't get from a cat unless they want something.

So yeah, our cats like strawberry ice cream

Toti has that same intensity for chicken. In our case it's a little more frightening though since for better or worse (probably worse), Quish has also been holding bigger pieces of meat and teaching Toti to tear chunks off while it's in her hand.

Yeah, that's just what we need, our cat to be experienced in tearing flesh.

However, it seems to trigger some instinctive predator in him and you can see he REALLY enjoys the experience that much more when he gets to rip it.
