I was rereading the fighter rules, and I think that I played their powers too strongly on Sunday.

Basically, the fighter Mark power allows me to make an immediate interupt attack if my mark (if next to me) moves or attacks someone else. It does not give me an opprotunity attack.

So the effects of Combat Superiority do not come into play then (i.e. my Wisdom bonus to hit or the I stable your foot to the ground part). This makes fighters less cheaty, but also less cool. I liked the idea that fighters could deny enemies their shift moves.

Ah well.
