The NPC is a bard. Which comes with a bit of healing, but also comes with a serious coke habit and a serious yen for groupie sex.
Marshal class is out of the minis handbook. Basically, I generate an minor aura 120' in diameter that gives a +4 bonus when flanking and my "major" aura gives you a flat +1 to hit on melee attacks. Which means that when you flank, you're already up +7 on the to hit roll. Have I mentioned that I love the conjorur who makes owlbears appear in good flanking spots for me? Have I mentioned that with my ludicrous to-hit rolls, I'm raking in the power attacks? It's good stuff. Oh, and I have a second minor arua that gives a +4 to initiative checks. The party routinely has over half the members going on 20+.
The problem isn't that it isn't trapped. The problem is that we're dead certain it's trapped and we need someone to disarm it. That person should ideally be the rogue and not the scout.
