Actually, the answer to both of those questions is no.
See, Capitalize and italicize are things you can do to written words, but you can't really do them to anything else. Bold and center/ed can apply to things besides written words (he's a bold man, I centered the painting on the wall) so we don't apply their text-meaning to them.
