Go Team Venture!

Heh,

OK, that episode turned out about like I expected it. I was kinda hoping for a wackier resolution or a complete denial of the Season 1 ending, but it was good. Dr. Venture "finding himself" was great.

Also, today's Order of the Stick is spectacularly good. Just give Haley her damn voice back, Rich, and all will be right with the world.

that was a great comic... I'm a big fan of the "Alexandrian" solution to such puzzles.

Holy crap that's funny. I just posted it to my VPM game list, because that is TOTALLY a Liloo solution.

Re: Venture Brothers, I was quite surprised when CN started running ads portraying the "death of the Venture brothers" episode as some kind of cliffhanger. I had seen that episode, and Dr. Venture's words at the end of that episode made it clear (to me) that Hank and Dean's death was a routine occurrence which needn't have any long-term consequences. I didn't know that it was the last episode of the season, nor did it occur to me that it might be, since it obviously wasn't a cliffhanger. I just figured Hank and Dean would be back in the next episode without further explanation. It probably would have been funnier that way. Those four words at the end of that episode had already told me most of what they spelled out in dreary detail in this "cliffhanger resolution" episode.

Yeah, I lost it a few times. I like how they kind of made it look like Dr. Orpheus was going to bring them back, which is actually what I expected. But they way they did it, "death prone children" and all, killed me.

I also liked the completely nonchalant way Dr. Venture took being teleported into pieces. :-)

"Are you raping me?" Oh, that was so wrong. ;-)
