On the gaming front...
I am, incidentally, having a fantastic time playing in ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
spritseeker's game. It's Serenity meets Raiders of the Lost Ark using the FATE System. I really like the system (though I have a soft spot for FUDGE, the underlying system it's built on) and while I'd never met a couple of the players before the game started, they're both pretty good players.
But the best part is that the game sessions have been pretty much non-stop fun from the moment we sit down to the moment we wrap it up. There hasn't been a whole lot of downtime and everyone is completely ready to drive their individual goals along with the group goals at any moment. Also, the game is side-splittingly funny and chock-full of "whoa cool!" moments. I'll be sad when this wraps up, but man, am I having fun now.
