(Hmm, might be interesting to have the Patternfall War of the first five books be the moment when Creation fell, and when Corwin inscribed his new pattern, that was the moment the Fruit took root. And now the Amberites suddenly discover they're responsible for a whole lot more than just the Amber and Shadows they knew . . . )
