2.) Chang An in Concord makes a fogcutter that will sit you squarely on your ass.

3.) Fogcutter has to be the most inappropriately named drink on the planet.

Not at all. It's a Fog Cutter. Cutter as in a sort of ship. Fog as in fog. The Fog Cutter is a ship that sails through fog. You drink the drink, you become the Fog Cutter, sailing through fog.
