So...that was a thing...that I just saw...
First up: On Batman: The Brave and Bold the opening segment had Batman team up with the Haunted Tank -- driven and operated by the Ghost of Jeb Stuart (normally he just tags along while the human crew does the work -- which is usually fighting Nazis and not crime in Gotham). So Batman and the Ghost of Jeb Stuart are riding around in Jeb's vintage tank chasing down the bad guy and there's a bit where they have to jump the tank over a raised drawbridge.
Not only does the General give a YEEEEE-HAW!, the tank makes the General Lee car horn noise.
The rest of the episode was almost negligible by comparison.
Next: On Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated, Scooby and the Gang fight Cthulhu and meet Lovecraft. The gang also encounters Harlan Ellison (voiced by the man himself). Sadly, neither Lovecraft nor Ellison is the man in the mask.
It's like they're sneaking into my mind and stealing my thoughts on awesome...
